AI Consultancy and Bespoke Software — for SMEs and Charities

YOU ARE THE INTELLIGENCE.IT IS THE ASSISTANT.

Mv32 Consulting helps SMEs and charities adopt AI without losing what makes them valuable — their judgment, their expertise, their humanity. I coach, I build bespoke software, and I'm developing PurposeSteward — governance software for the people who serve a purpose.

My Approach

The IA Framework

Most AI adoption fails because it starts with the tool, not the person. The IA (Intelligent Assistant) Framework is my human-centred method for getting real, durable value from AI. It begins with a single question:

"You are the intelligence. So what do you want your assistant to do?"
01

You lead, it follows

Your expertise directs. The IA executes. Never outsource your thinking.

02

Brief it like a professional

The quality of the output reflects the quality of the brief.

03

Work in loops, not lines

Review, refine, redirect. The first output is a starting point.

04

Trust but verify

AI is confident even when wrong. You remain accountable.

05

Expand what's possible

The real value is doing things you couldn't do before.

The five-phase coaching arc
  1. 1
    Awareness

Understand what AI is — and isn't.

  2. 2
    Direction

Define what you want your assistant to do.

  3. 3
    Collaboration

Work with AI in productive loops.

  4. 4
    Integration

Embed it into the way your teams work.

  5. 5
    Expansion

Do things you couldn't do before.

What I do

Three ways I help

AI Consultancy

Help your people adopt AI with confidence, not anxiety.

  • Leadership sessions, team workshops, and lunch & learn series
  • Quick-win discovery and proof-of-concept builds — momentum and evidence before strategy
  • AI strategy development grounded in what's actually working
  • AI transparency and governance — clear policies your board can stand behind

For: SMEs, charities, and mission-led organisations.

Bespoke AI Software

Build the tool that doesn't exist yet — without the overhead of a traditional dev house.

  • AI-assisted development, end to end
  • From concept and architecture through to live deployment
  • Built with the IA principle: humans approve, AI assists
  • Honest scoping — I'll tell you if your idea is too ambitious, not ambitious enough, or already exists as something off-the-shelf

For: organisations that need something custom without committing to a traditional build.

Governance software for the people who hold the purpose.

  • AI drafts the reports and summaries — your people review and approve

  • Built on the IA principle: trustees lead, the assistant follows
  • Designed with trustees and volunteers, not for them — built from inside real charity governance
  • In early conversations with a charity partner — pilot terms not yet agreed.

For: charities, charitable trusts, and mission-driven organisations.

The Engagement

How I work

I don't have case studies yet — Mv32 is new. What I do have is a repeatable way of working, refined across thirty-five years of delivery. Here is the shape of a typical engagement.

  1. 1
    Discovery call

30 minutes, free. Understand your context and whether we can help.

  2. 2
    Quick-win discovery

Half a day. Find the three best places to start, with evidence.

  3. 3
    Pilot

2 to 6 weeks. Prove value in one place before scaling.

  4. 4
    Scale-out

Roll the working pattern across teams with embedded support.

  5. 5
    Hand-over

Leave you self-sufficient. I am not a managed service.

What Mv32 isn't

  • I am not a managed service. I help your people build the capability, then I step back.
  • I do not sell licences for tools I haven't used myself.
  • I do not replace your in-house IT or development function. I work alongside it.
  • If a request doesn't fit, I will tell you and point you to someone who can help.

PurposeSteward

Public launch targeted Q4 2026, subject to pilot outcomes.

Governance, in service of purpose.

Run the charity. Don't be run by it.

PurposeSteward is the working demonstration of the IA Framework — a hierarchical governance platform built for the people who hold a charity's purpose. AI drafts the meeting summaries, the annual reports, and the governance narrative. Your trustees, your volunteers, your staff — they read, edit, and approve. Nothing publishes without a named human signing it off.

Built modular so it fits your structure, not the other way around.

  • Configurable hierarchy — local, regional, national
  • AI-drafted reports, summaries and annual reviews
  • Independent meeting groups for boards, committees, project teams
  • Risk, compliance and governance in one place
Pricing Commitment

PurposeSteward will launch with transparent, income-banded subscription pricing — so small charities pay a small charity share, and larger ones contribute fairly. Foundation customers who join before public launch will lock in early-access terms for the lifetime of their subscription.

Who Mv32 is for

Who I'm building this for

Commercial SMEs

Organisations across technology, finance, HR and professional services — and the sectors I've delivered in over thirty-five years: retail, manufacturing, distribution, insurance, and oil and gas. AI adoption that compounds your team's expertise, not replaces it.

Charities and trusts

Mission-driven organisations that need to do more with less — including churches, dioceses, foodbanks, and Christian charities. PurposeSteward will be priced openly by charity income, so small charities contribute a small share, and larger ones contribute fairly. Consultancy is scoped to fit the realities of charity life.

Simon Taylor, Founder.

About

Thirty-five years. One insight.

After thirty-five years in technology — IT management, software consultancy, Scrum delivery, ERP and CRM implementations — what I have is a toolbox. Patterns that work, patterns that don't, the judgement to tell which is which, and the experience to spot what isn't working before it costs you.

I've watched the same story play out every time a new technology arrives: the tool gets hyped, people get told to adapt, and the value never quite lands. AI is the most powerful technology I've worked with — and the one most prone to this pattern. So I built Mv32 around a simple inversion: people first, technology second. AI as an assistant, not a replacement.

That's not a slogan. It's a working method, and it's what I now coach, deliver, and build software around — at Mv32, working solo today and drawing in trusted associates for specific engagements.

That's my servant heart — and that's what Mv32 is for.
